Michel Folcault is a postmodernist who says:

  • There are no absolutes.
  • Truth, beauty, justice, reality, science; these are all social constructs which we can never truly define.
  • Language is a power struggle. Language is creation but also destruction. When we talk of something, we talk about it narrowly and thus limit what it is.
Another truth, Folcault is very hard to read.
