- Kinkos sucks. This is not a new revelation. I've known this for awhile. I'll admit that I'm not the most organized person in the world; however, everytime I've gone into a Kinkos there aren't enough employees and the ones who are there are disgruntled. I understand. When you get a nube trying to print something off and you ask them what format they have it in and the nube doesn't know, well there's only so much you can do. However, whenever I've had to mail something FedEx they just grunt and point to the FedEx stuff, and there's a lot of mailing forms and envelopes and insurance forms and such; so then I end up filling out the wrong form, and taking it up front, and the Kinkos people roll their eyes and hand me the right form while I'm trying to tell them what I need done, and they don't listen because they're tired of me already, and then the envelope isn't right because they didn't listen to what I was saying how, how the receiver has to be able to send the package back to me and meanwhile customers build up behind me and, hell, we both end up frustrated by the end. Kinkos, I suck as a customer but I wouldn't suck so bad if you would listen to what I was trying to do help me out, not just point me to a stack of FedEx forms. I'd like to say I'd be a better customer but (and I will say this in a very old person, snooty sort of way) I'd don't believe I'll be a customer again. That's what I learned today.

-Utilitarianism is a branch of philosophy that deals with the greater good. It basically says that better things for an individual and society are the things that bring us pleasure and anything that brings us pain is bad for an individual or society. From this there are two types of utilitarianism: hedonistic and something else I forget, but the something else I forget incorporates hedonism (eating, sex, sleep, etc.) and higher forms of pleasure (education, introspection, self improvement). John Stuart Mill is a big contributor to utilitarianism.
- I partially subscribe to Utilitarian beliefs but the vote is still out.
- Gambling alone durring the day is depressing.
- Gambling alone durring the day and loosing is very depressing.

- Nikola Tesla developed the magnifying transmiter. I have no idea how this thing actually works but he built it in his lab in Colorado City. The Russians have one that they claim to use to effect the weather (if this is so then why is Siberia so damn cold?). One of these is also located in Wendover, Utah for the study of ball lightning and nuclear fusion.
- My trip back to Korea is already marred with confusion and chaos.
- I have an amazing ability to lose things. I lost a phone card I bought from Wal Mart not five minutes after I bought it.

- Will Ferell is actually a good actor. Stranger Than Fiction is a really good movie.
- At one point Nicola Tesla's whole labratory burnt down and He had to start experiments from scratch.
- I'm not good with inconviences and when I feel I have lost control of things.
- I should work on being more patient with inconviences and when I feel I don't have control.
- You know those heavy duty weed wacker thingies that look like lawn mowers? Don't use those one areas containing gravel next to a build or a house with visable windows.
- I should write out what I'm going to do when I have a many things I need to do to minimize hassle.
- Generally Big 5 sales clerks suck and if I can help it, I'll never go to another Big 5 again.

- I refreshed my memory with the lesson that mowing a lawn in the rain truly sucks.
- I've been gradually learning that I need to get back to Korea, work and make some money.
- I learned that it's quite easy to link two nintendo DSs together and play games.

-You have to hike a long ways to hit water from the top of West Fork Canyon.
-Issac Newton was a revolutionary scientists. I've known this but I didn't know to what degree this was true. He came up with idea and the equations to make gravity work. This only seems mundane because we often take this information for granted.

- Writing down what I learned each day is not as easy as I thought.
-Thomas Edison was an asshole back in the day.
- The housing market is terrible for middle class Americans right now because of sub-prime loans. The interest rates of most sub prime loans are subject to change after two years. The peak of the housing boom was two years ago. Many of the big lending companies are in trouble and so adjusting the rates now meaning homeowners are having to pick up the slack.
- I think I have free will but I don't. My sense of reality and decision making are tricks my brain plays on me to make me believe I have control over my situation. This was proven in the finger twitching experiments in German. I heard this on Radio Lab.

Things I learned in California:
-California traffic sucks.
-It's colder along the coast than I imagined.
-I could possibly live in California.
-I love my girlfriend.
